Flooded Heart

A poem

That heart of hers
has been filled to the brim,
she wants to let it overflow,
she grasps that there is danger,
oh, she sees it as an adventure

enchanting breeze teases her,
flirtatious advances delight her,
gentle smattering titillates her,
she grasps that there’s danger,
oh, she sees it as an adventure

ups and downs, high and low,
nervous waves try to get slow,
breeze in a hurry, all seems blurry,
she grasps that there is danger,
oh, she sees it as an adventure

breeze is no longer pretty,
sways with the pouring sweat with alacrity,
he is frenetic to an eternity,
she grasps that there’s danger
oh, she sees it as an adventure

merrymaking at its peak,
but now he’s become weak,
she instigates the earth to freak,
she grasps that there’s danger,
oh, she sees it as an adventure

cleverer than she thought, he left her in
that spot,
infatuated with his torridity, duped with
the floods,
what does she get, nothing but blood
she will always see danger and no more
see adventure…..
